WW2 U.S. Navy Mark I – Boat Clock
Nice WW2 U.S. Navy Mark I – Boat Clock. Manufactured in 1942 by the Seth Thomas Clock Company. Condition is good – with wear consistent with age and usage. Clock is in working condition at time of description – but does not include a clock key (replacement keys are plentiful and would be easy to obtain by the prospective purchaser). When obtained, we were informed that this clock came from the personal collection of a United States Navy officer who had served aboard the USS Nautilus (SSN-571) – the world’s first operational nuclear-powered submarine. As we cannot verify the aforementioned information, we must present this clock as it stands – a fine working example of a WW2 era USN boat clock.
