Intriguing WW2 Japanese Rising Sun Flag with Unique Border. Presents in good condition with very light discoloration (likely a result of exposure and/or age). Notably, this particular flag is adorned with a distinctive border of black tassel fringe on three sides. In all probability, this flag was utilized by a Japanese naval unit (possibly a patrol craft) – however, the consensus on its usage is divided and the flag could have been implemented in a wholly different capacity. Flag has been subjected to black light and none of the materials show any signs of phosphorescence.
