Presents in overall very good condition – with light wear from age and storage. Includes 4-pocket dress jacket and garrison cap. Jacket is double-patched with 82nd Airborne Division patch and 17th Airborne Division patch. Includes beautiful custom-made glider wings (English made JR Gaunt wings with custom 319 numbering affixed); finely custom-made embroidered sewn-on ribbon bar (highlights of which include Good Conduct ribbon [with 4 loop bronze clasp], EAME Campaign ribbon [with arrowhead device and 2 campaign stars], and Croix de Guerre ribbon); and early screw back collar disks. Marked as size 36S. Manufacturer’s tag is present – dated 1942. Jacket is laundry numbered – handwritten (K2871). Garrison cap has artillery piping and glider patch.
