WW2 24th Cavalry Division M1917A1 Helmet

Stunningly painted WW2 24th Cavalry Division M1917A1 “Kelly”¬†Helmet. Majority of helmet still retains nice, heavy cork finish texture. Front of helmet is painted with a 3″ x 3″ depiction of the 24th Cavalry Division emblem. Structural condition of shell is very good. Helmet is complimented by a liner and chin strap, both showing expected honest wear. One side of dome crown pad has detached, but is present. Helmet is manufacturer stamped: D/03. An extremely rare painted cavalry unit helmet and an incredible addition to any collection.
