WW2 10th Mountain Division Cold Weather Uniform Group

Remarkable WW2 10th Mountain Division Cold Weather Uniform Group.

Condition of group is good, given that pieces were field used in an extreme environment. Constituent pieces of group present with wear consistent with age and exposure to the elements during their use.

Includes: WW2 reversible snow parka, pair of WW2 white field snow trousers (manufacturer marked), pile field cap (manufacturer tagged), cased snow googles, pair of unlined trigger finger cold weather gloves, pair of over white mittens, WW2 shovel with cover, mountain pack with frame, strap-on ice cleats, WW2 snap-in leather ski boots, set of ski poles, and set of skis.

Included with this group is a binder with print outs and photos of “Arthur Schimike“. Arthur Schimike served as the First Sergeant to the First Battalion, 87th Mountain Infantry Regiment during WW2 – seeing combat in the Aleutian Islands and Italian campaigns. While this binder was included with the initial purchase of the group, we cannot verify or guarantee that the items contained in the group belonged to Sergeant Schimike.

A tremendous opportunity to own an extensive, eye catching, and display ready 10th Mountain Division group.
