Rare WW2 Brazilian Expeditionary Force Medic M1 Helmet

Extremely rare and amazing WW2 Brazilian Expeditionary Force Medic M1 Helmet. Shell is front-seam swivel bale and presents in a condition which has “been there and done that”. Helmet retains roughly 50% of its original paint, including 2 medic disk emblems (front and rear). Each painted medic disk emblem measures approximately 5 & 1/2″ in diameter and bears the distinctive red cross symbol within a white circular field – attributed to combat medic helmets of the period. Helmet is heat stamped: 954A. Inside of helmet is painted with the letters “CCSV” over the right side bale. Helmet is consistent with other examples used by the Brazilian Expeditionary Force during WW2 and was obtained directly from a collector in Brazil. The rarity of this piece cannot be overstated (as Brazil only fielded a single infantry division sent overseas to fight alongside the Allies during WW2). A truly exclusive and near impossible to find piece of WW2 history.
