Wonderful Named (Pierre Paul Arpin) WW2 8th Air Force Jacket. Condition is good, with wear and light mothing. Highlights of jacket include outstanding, heavy bullion 8th Air Force patch, nice felt-backed subdued bullion Army Air Force patch, and full three inch sterling pinback pilot’s wings (marked AMCRAFT). Highlights of ribbon bar include: Air Medal ribbon, EAME Campaign ribbon with 2 campaign stars, and WW2 Victory ribbon with 2 campaign stars. Manufacture’s tag is present – made by Globe Tailoring. Jacket is named on inside tag “P. Arpin“, along with date, service number, and location. Included is a single post-WW2 dog tag – stamped “Arpin Pierre Paul“.

Cursory research uncovered that Pierre Paul Arpin served as a B-17 pilot with the 457th Bomb Group and flew numerous bombing missions over Germany during WW2.
