Purple Heart is unengraved and unnumbered, but is identified through the included General Orders of the 167th General Hospital (original to the group) and the information card (as received).

According to the information card provided and our cursory research, Sergeant Kenneth Ray Horn (ASN: 36478559) served with the 8th Infantry Division during WW2 and was wounded by artillery fire on April 6, 1945 (during the 8th Infantry Division’s offensive in the Ruhr Pocket).
